Mental health nursing manual, 1960, 1967 reprint [state publication].

This manual describes the functions of the public health nurse in the care of the mentally ill and the community at large. Included are the nurses' contributions in maternal and child care, school health, chronic and communicable diseases, geriatrics, orthopedic services, alcoholism, and mental retardation. It also contains sections on recording, evaluation, and research. The publication reflects the evolving role of the public health nurse in the total health of the community. It was prepared by Louise Cady of the former Division of Community Services.
